Perfectly Posh salon owner Krysia Eddery was among the privileged few to gain a backstage pass to London Fashion Week… creating fabulous hairstyles for the models!
Over four days in February, Krysia (pictured left) created sensational hairstyles for designers Roberta Einer, Sabinna, Cimone and Huishan Zhang. “We had such amazing support on our work that we managed to feature in two global publications, Vogue and Elle USA,” says Krysia.
Krysia joined a talented team of stylists who worked under a head stylist to style the models’ hair. Each show featured different looks which required a variety of hair styling techniques.
“The whole experience was incredible,” says Krysia. “I went into this feeling quite scared but it was a brilliant experience. I have conquered my fear and want to do more! I’ve also brought back some new techniques and trained my team so we can use them in the salon.”
In fact, Krysia’s experience has proved inspirational for her Hungerford salon team. Krysia explains: “My team were fully behind me and it’s given them a glimpse into session styling. I would love them to experience this if they want to.”
Krysia is also planning to work backstage at London Fashion Week in September 2017 and hopefully at New York Fashion Week next year. She got involved after being asked by international hair colour experts Aveda to do a runway styling course with iconic session stylist Jon Reyman. After completing the training, you are guaranteed to work backstage at London Fashion Week.
Further opportunities beckon for Krysia who is also hoping to work with Aveda to help build their own Artistic Team.
